I did manage to get out with the camera one sunny morning; blooms are appearing everywhere, and most of them make but brief appearances. The dogwoods between the house and garden are a perfect example.
When you think about it, many good things are here one minute and gone the next. That, too, is the nature of the Universe in which we find ourselves.
It seems oddly difficult for the human mind to focus on this minute, and this one only. Our brain apparently prefers meandering down memory lane, or wondering about all the tomorrows ahead.
Boy, do we miss a lot that way.
