All Saints Sky

AllSaintsSkyWe keep an “octave” of All Saints and All Souls days, which means we liturgically observe the same day over and over, for eight days. By the end of the week we know the haunting (and challenging) music almost by heart.

And this time of year is when, for some reason, spectacular sunsets seem to appear one after another. This is the one that greeted us on our way to chapel on the actual day of All Saints.

As a dear friend likes to say, you can’t make this stuff up. Thank you, God. It’s really, really delightful.
