St. Patrick’s Day on the farm

Finally, the snowfields out back have melted away, the rain has stopped and the sun is shining!  What a glorious St. Patrick’s Day—the traditional pea-planting day. Which we did, by the way. This is what the garden looks like just before planting and after the winter snows have “processed” all the mulch put down last fall. But the wood-chipped paths survived just fine, as you can see.
